Meet Laura-Owner/Accountant
At Commencement Bay Accounting LLC, we specialize in small business bookkeeping. With over 40 years of experience, Laura began her career in bookkeeping before transitioning to a CPA firm. In 1989, she founded Commencement Bay Accounting LLC to offer a more personalized approach to accounting at more affordable rates. Laura is dedicated to getting to know her clients on a deeper level to help them achieve their financial goals, both personally and professionally.

Meet Kylie- Assistant/Bookkeeper
Kylie joined CBA in October 2023, starting with basic filing tasks. By November, she began assisting with small bookkeeping clients and has since taken on larger companies. In addition to her bookkeeping work, Kylie supports Laura in creating websites, completing 501(c)(3) applications, drafting contracts, and more. Through these experiences, Kylie has developed a strong passion for numbers and discovered a true love for accounting.
