Meet Laura-Owner/Accountant
At Commencement Bay Accounting LLC, we specialize in small business bookkeeping. Laura has over 40+ years of experience, beginning with bookkeeping and then moving to a CPA firm. Laura opened Commencement Bay Accounting, LLC in 1989 to provide a more personalized experience for her clients at more reasonable rates. Laura takes the time to get to know her clients so she can better help them achieve higher company or personal financial standards.

Meet Kylie- Assistant/Bookkeeper
Kylie began working at CBA in October of 2023 doing basic filing. By November she began working on small bookkeeping clients and has since taken on larger companies. Kylie assists Laura in creating websites, bookkeeping, filling out 501(c)(3) applications, drawing up contracts and more. Through all of this, she has discovered a new love for numbers and has found a passion for accounting.
Our Approach
We offer a variety of services to match the needs of the clients. As a small business owner, Laura understands that the needs of clients may not always match what other companies offer. At Commencement Bay Accounting, each client is heard, acknowledged, and understood to best help them with the services they may need. Upon booking a service with CBA, you will receive an Engagement Letter stating the scope of service you have hired us to do and the fees associated.
